Junior Process Engineer

About the position

An industrial engineering company is looking for a Junior Project Engineer to support projects from order through to handover. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll coordinate technical documentation, suppliers, workshop progress and site activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Track project schedules, milestones and progress, flagging delays early.
• Assist with drawings, bills of material, equipment lists and technical documents.
• Maintain costing sheets, progress reports and client documentation.
• Raise procurement requests, follow up with suppliers and check quotations against specifications.
• Liaise with the workshop on fabrication progress, inspections and quality records.
• Attend site visits, installations and commissioning activities under senior guidance.
• Assist with technical proposals and responses to client queries.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years' project engineering experience in an industrial or engineering environment.
• Strong Excel and technical writing skills.
• Valid driver's licence and passport, with willingness to travel to site.
• CAD exposure would be an advantage.
