Our client, in Managed Care, seeks to employ a Junior Pre-Authorisation Consultant: HBM for the accurate issuing of appropriate Pre-Authorisations that meets the requirements of clinical appropriateness. The role is performed in a contact centre.

Key requirements:

• Grade 12
• Ambulance Assistant or Auxillary Nurse
• Active HPCSA/SANC Membership
• Minimum 5 years clinical related experience

Key responsibilities:

• Provide affordable managed healthcare solutions aimed at ensuring member satisfaction
• Support clients by authorizing suitable financial coverage
• Offer efficient call centre assistance to enhance the member experience
• Minimize risks related to hospital admissions and approved medical cases
• Handle incoming calls professionally to promote positive member interactions
• Approve pre-authorizations in alignment with benefit options, scheme rules, and clinical guidelines
