About the position
An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Paltrack Administrator to provide administrative and operational support within a busy market environment in Mbombela (Nelspruit), Mpumalanga.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate Paltrack capturing, pallet and stock administration, receiving and dispatch processing, and operational record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture and maintain accurate receiving, stock, pallet and dispatch information
• Perform administrative transactions on Paltrack and related operational systems
• Monitor and maintain accurate pallet and stock movement records
• Assist with receiving, storage and dispatch administration
• Verify system information against supporting documentation and physical operational activities
• Identify and report stock, pallet and data discrepancies
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with Receiving, Dispatch, Warehouse, Forklift Operators, Market Agents and other operational personnel
• Support effective traceability and the smooth flow of produce through the Market
• Perform general administrative duties within Market Operations
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / Matric
• 1–2 years' relevant administrative experience
• Practical Paltrack experience – strongly preferred
• Experience in a fresh produce market, packhouse, warehouse, logistics, distribution or similar environment will be advantageous
• Diploma or Certificate in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field will be advantageous
• Computer literate, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Good numerical and data-capturing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
