Junior Packaging Label Designer

About the position

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update label templates using Report Designer. (You can learn using this) - This does not contain any artwork, only the Template design with Barcodes


• Ensure compliance with international export regulations and client requirements.


• Work closely with IT and Operations teams and Different Clients


• Maintain consistency and accuracy across different printer types and technologies.


• Resolve label-related issues promptly.


• Engage with clients and industry authorities to stay informed on labelling standards.


• Support multi-language label design and localisation.


• Document label specifications and manage version control.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in the related field.


• Certifications in label design software or printing technologies are a plus.

 



Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in label design software.


• Knowledge of printer technologies (thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser).


• Familiarity with barcode standards (GS1, QR codes, Data Matrix).


• Basic scripting skills (e.g., VBScript, JavaScript) for dynamic label generation.

 



Design Expertise:

• Strong understanding of design, layout, and visual hierarchy.


• Ability to create clear, readable, and compliant label designs.
