About the position
RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Millwrights to work in Meppel, Netherlands. Please note that visa and sponsorship assistance provided. In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of electrical systems, including tasks like cabling, PLC fault finding, working on electrical motors, and replacing sensors. In addition, you'll also handle mechanical maintenance—working on components such as conveyor belts, bearings, and motors.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure and keep the installation and machines in good condition
- Carry out inspections, perform preventive maintenance and are involved in optimizations
- Carry out corrective maintenance and resolve malfunctions on complex machines and installations
- Provide improvement proposals and implement them together with your team
- Experience in PLC fault finding and basic programming
- Experience in industrial automation is an advantage
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or N4
- Millwright Trade Test Certificate
- Mechanically and Electrically inclined
- Completed 3 year apprenticeship
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- South African drivers’ license
- Willing to work in the Netherlands for 2 years or longer.
- Post trade test experience (1-2 years) will be advantageous
Benefits:
- Salary: €3500 - €4500 per month + shift allowance (18,5%)(R73k - R86k)
- 8,33 % Holiday Allowance (annual)
