About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, the UK’s most awarded and fastest-growing next-gen Telco/VoIP provider for small businesses, is seeking a UX/UI Designer (Junior-Mid) to join their growing product team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of UX principles, strong UI design skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver intuitive, engaging digital experiences. You'll work closely with the Senior UX Designer to improve the customer journey through thoughtful, user-centered design.
DUTIES:
User Experience & Interface Design:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications using Figma.
- Ensure user-centered design principles are applied to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.
- Work on design systems and UI components to ensure consistency.
User Research & Testing:
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine designs.
- Assist in analysing Hotjar and Mixpaneldata to identify pain points and areas of improvement.
- Work with the Senior UX Designer to create user personas, journey maps, and UX artefacts that inform design decisions.
Collaboration & Implementation:
- Work closely with developers to ensure the design vision is effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with marketing to align branding and UX across all digital touchpoints.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in SaaS or B2B applications.
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Design Systems, Prototyping).
- Basic understanding of how designs translate to development.
- Experience with usability testing tools and data-driven design.
ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong visual design skills, including typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
