About the position
We are seeking a motivated Junior JavaScript Developer with a passion for full-stack development and a willingness to grow in a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will contribute to front-end and integration development, while learning from a seasoned team working on modern platforms and cloud-native solutions.
Key Technical Competencies & Responsibilities
Front-End Development
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and Angular (with Material UI)
- Exposure to JPA and Hibernate front-end integration
- Assist in implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
Back-End and Integration Support
- Exposure to Spring Boot, Spring Data (JPA & Mongo)
- Understanding of REST and SOAP web services
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and messaging systems (IBM MQ, AWS SQS, Amazon MQ)
- Basic experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
DevOps & Testing Awareness
- Understanding of GIT, GitLab, and Gradle
- Exposure to testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber
- Interest or exposure to Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiar with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Insomnia for API testing
Monitoring & Security (Learning Stage)
- Awareness of monitoring tools such as DataDog, Micrometer, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Understanding of Spring Security, OAuth2, and LDAP/AD
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant IT degree or diploma
- <5 years of experience, ideally with 2–4 years in financial services
- Some experience with integration of systems and working in agile teams
- Advantageous: exposure to investment platforms, FICA, and CDD-related systems
