Junior Internal Auditor - FTC

About the position

• Planning of annual audit engagements scheduled.
• Pre-engagement data extraction and analysis to focus audit effort on areas of risk.
• Drafting of scoping letter for audit engagements to be performed.
• Conducting preliminary meetings with heads of operations to discuss areas to be audited.
• Performing fieldwork in accordance with the audit program.
• Obtaining of information directly or indirectly through examination of records or interviews with stuff.
• Reviewing and evaluating systems of management controls and assess adequacy and effectiveness.
• Preparing working papers and documenting draft findings.
• Conducting exit meetings with management to discuss areas of concern.
• Drafting internal audit reports and communication on results of work performed.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• Bachelor's Degree in internal audit, risk management, accounting, or IT (Computer Auditing).
• Valid driver's license.
• 3 years' experience
• Experience in a FMCG environment would be an advantage.
• Experience in executing projects and operating at all levels within the organisation.
• Be accurate, systems orientated and able to work with figures.
• Experience in the auditing and verification of warehousing operations with specific focus on inventory control, documentation, cycle counts, stock integrity and the operation.
• SAP experience would be an advantage
