About the position
To provide professional, independent financial advice to clients, leveraging an established client base while building and managing your own portfolio of high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients. The role offers long-term growth within a highly reputable wealth and asset management firm known for its integrity, technical expertise, and client-centric service.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- RE5 Qualification
- CFP® designation, or currently in the process of completing the CFP® Board Exam
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Investment Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in the financial services or advisory environment
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning principles, and wealth management
- Clean FSCA record and compliance status
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Key Performance Areas
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trusted and professional financial advice
- Conduct detailed financial needs analyses and prepare tailored investment and financial plans
- Leverage the firm’s existing client base to grow assets under management and expand personal client portfolios
- Deliver accurate and professional client presentations, reviews, and investment proposals
- Ensure compliance with FAIS and FSCA regulatory standards at all times
- Stay current with market trends, product developments, and changes in legislation affecting clients
- Work collaboratively with senior advisors and management to achieve team and personal growth objectives
- Maintain a professional image aligned with the firm’s reputation for excellence and integrity
