About the position
Hire Resolve's client, a prominent property development and management company specializing in residential and commercial projects, is currently seeking a dedicated Junior Health & Safety Officer to join their team on-site.?
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies in compliance with legal regulations.?
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.?
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.?
- Provide health and safety training to staff and contractors.?
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training sessions.?
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.?
Requirements:
- Valid registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).?
- Proven experience in health and safety within the property development or related industry.?
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.?
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.?
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.?
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.?
- Candidates with only civil experience will not be considered.?
