About the position
La Lucia (Umhlanga) - Our client is a dynamic advertising and digital marketing agency specializing in delivering creative and impactful digital marketing solutions. Passionate about helping their clients achieve their goals through innovative campaigns and digital strategies.
We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Graphic Designer to join our client's creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the design industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for websites, social media, digital ads, and print materials.
- Work closely with senior designers and creative leads to develop engaging design concepts.
- Follow brand guidelines while bringing fresh creativity to projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs align with client goals.
- Edit and refine design elements based on feedback.
- Keep up to date with design trends and industry developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in graphic design (internships or freelance work acceptable).
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and web design is a plus.
- Knowledge of animation/motion graphics (After Effects) is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to take direction and apply feedback constructively.
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for creativity and design innovation.
Remuneration: R10 000 - R12 000 monthly
Working hours: Monday - Friday (8 am - 16.30 pm)
