Junior Foreman – Mining / Engineering / Production
Location: Mining Operations
Industry: Mining / Engineering
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Foreman to support daily operational and maintenance activities on site. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical experience who is ready to step into a supervisory position and grow their leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervising and coordinating teams on shift
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Support operational activities and resolve minor issues
- Monitor equipment and report defects or maintenance needs
- Complete basic reporting, logs, and shift documentation
- Provide on-the-job guidance and support to team members
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant technical qualification (Mining / Mechanical / Electrical / Production)
- 1–3 years’ experience in mining, engineering, or production environment
- Previous supervisory or acting leadership experience advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and medical fitness
