Junior Financial Manager

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic Internet Solutions provider based in Somerset West is currently in search of a proficient Junior Financial Manager to augment their team. Candidates with a degree in accounting or relevant accreditation are preferred, along with a minimum of five years of experience. Essential qualifications include prior experience in the property/rental industry and proficiency with MDA software.

DUTIES:

Group Management Accounting (various entities):

• Accounting and related processing
• Monthly TB review
• Management account preparation
• Audit preparation and management
• Year end audit journal review and processing
• Vat reconciliation review and approval
• Assist with accounting/audit queries

Cashflow management:

• Weekly payments review
• Daily, monthly cashflow schedules
• Bond Payments
• Intergroup funding/payments & cross billing
• Tenant arrears management

Liaise with the property management team:

• Maintenance Budgets

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Degree in Accounting or similar.
• Accreditation advantageous.
• 5 Years experience.
• Property / rental industry experience essential.
• MDA experience essential.
