This role will support the drawing office by preparing detailed technical drawings and ensuring documentation is accurately maintained. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Maintain documentation and ensure accurate revision control.
• Follow drafting standards and procedures set by the department.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to finalise designs.
• Learn and adapt to new software that supports the drafting process.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
• Update and maintain drawing files as needed.
• Provide support during design changes or project updates.
• Assist in compiling technical documentation.
• Participate in quality checks and design reviews.
• Adhere to deadlines and project schedules.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams.
• Organise and manage digital files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential).
• Skilled in general PC usage and relevant software.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (advantageous but not required).
• Familiarity with sheet metal design is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to technical drawing or related coursework.
• Matric certificate
• Technical qualification is advantageous.

Remuneration:
R15 000 - R20 000 monthly
