We are always looking for skilled professionals to join our growing team and contribute to innovative technology projects across various industries.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at Reverside with the following skills.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Minimum 2 years cloud experience managing AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, VPC, Load Balancing, Route 53, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in scripting using Python, PowerShell or Linux.
- Familiar with administering Linux and Windows server-based infrastructure.
- Familiar with virtualization e.g Docker.
- Proficiency in various database technologies such as Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, encompassing database administration and query optimization.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls and network communication.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using Bamboo.
- Experienced with Bit-Bucket or Git for version control.
- Familiar with agile and other development processes and methodologies.
- Utilize creative problem-solving and design thinking to address challenges.
- Maintain technical documentation and procedures for infrastructure and operations processes using Confluence.
- Optimize resource utilization by leveraging containerization and server-less architectures.
- Active participation in security assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance efforts to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Java, Python, C# background would be advantageous
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or another related field
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (Admin, Architecture or Developer certification would be advantageous).
