About our client:
Our client, a specialised IT firm, partners with organisations to tackle substantial enterprise-level business, system, or project challenges. What you will be doing:
- Creating ASP.NET web applications - design, build, and maintain.
- Work together with different teams to figure out what's needed and turn those ideas into tech solutions.
- Write code that's clear, easy to scale, and simple to maintain.
- Use the best ways to develop software, including unit testing and code reviews.
- Find and fix any tech problems that come up.
- Keep learning about new technologies and what's happening in the industry.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal.
- 1-2 years experience building web apps with ASP.NET would be great. C#, .NET Framework, or similar tools is beneficial.
- Good at solving problems and thinking things through.
- A good communicator and get along well with others.
- You can work on your own and also as part of a team.
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with the jQuery JavaScript library and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, [URL Removed] experience with Relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Awareness of Continuous Integration (CI) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Code repository management and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Work Type:
- The company offers a mix of office and remote work - you'd only need to be in the office 3 days a week, and the rest can be done remotely. IF you would like to be in office daily you'd be welcome
