About the position
Configure and customize Dynamics 365 (modules: finance, inventory, warehouse management, procurement and logistics) to meet business needs.
Oversee support with primary focus on finance, inventory, warehouse management, procurement and logistics.
Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting on the Dynamics365 platform (1st level support).
Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business processes that need to be incorporated into D365 F&O.
Direct supporting the Parts, Finance and Procurement business functions.
Provides IT application support across Southern African Countries where the company has an operational presence.
Provide direct support and engage business users/ stakeholders regarding the logged support cases, system awareness, and knowledge building.
Gather and document business requirements from clients.
Translate functional business objectives and critical success factors into functional documents.
Configure application as appropriate to conform to business process definition.
Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone or site visits.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
Assist in project management tasks related to ERP implementation.
Perform and automate system monitoring procedures from an application perspective.
Support the other company rollouts based on support experiences gathered.
Develop and maintain system documentation and user guides based on support queries.
Perform system unit testing, validation and deployment of new releases.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree (BSc/Eng.) preferred or 3-year National IT Diploma.
ITIL certification advantage.
Must have Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) - Exam MB-920.
2 to 3 year’s min experience as a Junior D365 F&O Consultant.
