Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and identify potential threats.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Support incident response and investigation activities.
• Review and analyse security logs and reports.
• Assist in maintaining security tools and technologies.
• Support compliance and information security initiatives.
• Document security findings and recommendations.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and security trends.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, ISC2 CC, or Microsoft Security Fundamentals will be advantageous.
