Position: Creditors Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
- Creditor Management: Handle the full creditors function, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies.
- Payments: Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare reports as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: MUST HAVE a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field (e.g., BCom Accounting). (Please do not apply for this role if you have not yet completed a degree in finance).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in creditors , preferably in a fast-paced IT or similar environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Personal Attributes: Proactive, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
