About the position

Our client, a leader in their field, is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant in their Creditors team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities include:

  • Effectively managing the admin division of Creditors functions
  • Effectively managing the process flow of the payments division and reporting thereof
  • Managing the central Group expense capturing and split to different departments
  • Managing the process flow of recons in the Creditors functions and reporting thereof
  • Designing, implementing and driving controls and procedures to create efficiencies
  • Effectively reporting on all admin workflow processes within creditors to the Group FM

Requirements:

  • Accountancy degree/diploma or similar registered
  • 3-5 years' experience in a corporate environment
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Leadership, people, and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills - verbal and written
  • Resilient and flexible, able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Advance computer literacy
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Experience in management of people and team
  • Self-motivated person
  • Process/structured driven
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively to all stakeholders
  • Own reliable transport
