Junior Credit Manager at Bidvest Bank

About the position

The Junior Credit Manager is to assess and process applications for all Lending Products, for Corporate, Commercial, Business Banking, Forex and Trade Finance, manage their allotted Portfolio, manage daily excess's security and limits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and assess Credit Applications - New and reviews.
• Manage reviews
• Manage collateral requirements.
• Must be able to assess Financials
• Ensure all their MIS Stats are Managed on a daily basis
• Conduct deal forums with their Sales team
• Build relationships with customers - internal and external.
• Attention to detail in compiling Executive Summaries to be presented at Credit Comm, Snr Credit Comm and Board
• Travel - to meet with clients

Knowledge

• Finance knowledge
• Ability to read financial statements and analyse
• Minimum 4-5 years Credit Experience
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel - specifically around reporting and formulas
• Good Analytical Skills
• Accounting principles
• Good knowledge of the Companies Act
• Ability to read and understand Contracts
• Trade Finance product knowledge
• Merchant Services product knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS
Credit Diploma, or Bcomm Finance, or studying towards a Credit Diploma.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum banking experience of 7 years with a minimum of 4-5 years in Credit
