A well-established manufacturing company based in Matroosfontein is seeking a technically minded and motivated Technical Junior Cost Accountant to join their finance and operations team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys costing, operational analysis and working closely with production teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support costing activities and assist with profitability reporting
• Track manufacturing expenses including materials, labour and operational costs
• Assist with inventory verification and stock balancing processes
• Review and investigate cost fluctuations and reporting variances
• Compile financial and production-related costing reports
• Update and maintain product costing structures and data records
• Provide support during budgeting cycles and financial reporting periods
• Liaise with operations, purchasing and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
• Contribute towards process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1–2 years’ experience within manufacturing or a technical environment advantageous
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory control advantageous
• Knowledge of Pastel Evolution beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
