About the position
An established medium size company in the fmcg industry is looking to employ a qualified Jnr Cost Accountant to assist with costings and administrate systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility and authority:
- Calculate weekly defects/wastages.
- Do costings.
- Assist with product traceability.
- Responsible for T & M studies to improve efficiency & productivity.
- Introduce a set of Health Checks in SYSPRO System.
- Liaise with PlanIT on all matters regarding Syspro.
- Give Syspro training to new Employees.
- Load the BOM onto the System regarding NPD.
- Maintain the Cost implosion/Cost Transfers
- Maintain the Selling Price module on Syspro.
- Any ad hoc duties that might be given by employer from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree plus sound financial knowledge
EXPERIENCE
1 year's production/financial experience, Computer literate (intermediate level)
