Junior Conveyancer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior conveyancers and directors to facilitate property transactions, ensuring the smooth transfer of ownership from seller to buyer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or junior conveyancer looking to develop their skills and provide clients with professional legal assistance and expert advice throughout the property transaction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior conveyancers with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including sale agreements, transfer documents, and mortgage bonds.
• Conduct due diligence on properties, including title searches, zoning checks, and land surveys.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, banks, and other stakeholders to coordinate property transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and file documents with the Deeds Office and other relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and files related to property transactions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in property law and conveyancing procedures.

Requirements:

• LLB degree and admission as a conveyancer.
• 1-2 years experience in conveyancing or property law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office and conveyancing software.
