About the position
Join a high-energy team where you'll gain hands-on experience in medical aid and retirement consulting. Is this you? You're a self-starter with a client-facing personality who's been working behind the scenes in a broker space and is ready for more. You're motivated to grow, detail-oriented, and understand that great service sometimes. You've got energy, a willingness to learn, and you're not afraid of hard work. You believe in building a career, not just doing a job, and you're excited about the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, high-performance environment. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll handle policy administration and member servicing for a portfolio of corporate clients across medical aid and retirement products. You'll be the first point of contact for members, helping them with their queries, processing changes, and identifying opportunities for retail upsells (like Gap cover). This is a foundational role where you'll learn the business from the ground up, with clear pathways for growth into senior consulting positions. Where you'll be doing it You'll join a dynamic, independently owned financial broker that's deeply rooted in the B2B space, advising thousands of businesses nationwide. Based in Century City, Cape Town, this organisation has a high-performance culture, values-led leadership, and invests in developing its people. You'll have strong infrastructure support, mentorship from experienced consultants, and real opportunity to build a long-term career. What you'll need Along with bringing a willingness to learn, you hold a Matric and NQF5 in financial planning and RE5 certification (or ability to obtain it within 6 months of starting). At least 3 years of experience in the financial consulting space, with good understanding of medical aid and retirement products. You will need a valid driver's license and own vehicle, strong attention to detail and process management, and of course, good relationship-building and communication skills. What you'll get A market-related package with the ability to earn commission on upselling, support and training from experienced consultants, and recognition and reward programs, including potential international trips for top performers.
