About the position
A specialist law firm offering clients a high level of expertise in Corporate, Commercial, Trust, Tax law and administration of estates is looking to appoint a Junior Commercial Legal Secretary
REQUIREMENTS:
- CIPC (formation of company documents)
- Drafting of trusts (formation and registration with the Master of the High Court).
- Must be familiar with the various documents required to form and register a company, share transfers and share registers as well as the formation of a trust.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook; An in-house computer programme is used for drafting of most documents in respect of which training will be provided
- Self-motivated and takes ownership of tasks without needing constant supervision
- Fast and accurate typing; detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Ability to work at a steady and productive pace, meeting deadlines without unnecessary delays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be a confident communicator who engages with clients, colleagues and management
- Professional, reliable and committed to maintaining high-performance standards
