About the position
An exciting position exists in the Sales department - Junior Business Development Manager at Sir Fruit, Woodstock, Cape Town. Sir Fruit is looking for a Jnr Business Development Manager. We are looking for a bright, energetic, and charismatic young go-getter with a hunger to learn and grow within a dynamic organization. The individual must not be afraid to roll up their sleeves, display a can-do attitude and someone who will enjoy working in a fast-growing, fun but hard-working environment. The role of Junior Business Development Manager will be tasked with providing in trade assistance/ support to the current Business Development Managers within the on-trade channel. Time in trade will allow for a considerable amount of on-the-job training to the point where the individual has full understanding of the business and ways of working and develops a strong know-how of what the Business Development Managers role entails. The individual would work in line with a weekly schedule, working on a rotational basis with each regional Business Development Manager within the Cape town region. From time to time, it would be required that the individual work outside of the schedule as per a business need/ requirement and potentially travel to other parts of the country to assist where needed. The Jnr Business Development Manager would also be required to cover territories in a Business Development Manager's absence (sick leave, annual leave) that are vacant and where there are specific business needs - i.e., Events, etc. The role would require a high degree of flexibility and mobility. The Jnr Business Development Manager would report directly to the Regional Field Sales Manager.
