Junior Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

About the position

A dynamic organization based in Meadowdale, Germiston is looking to employ an Accounts Clerk with 2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar.
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
• 2 – 5 years’ experience
• Candidate can have either Debtors or Creditors experience
• MS Office and Sage Pastel
• Must be a fast learner and adaptable
• Training will be provided
• Enter financial transactions into accounting software or ledgers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, and payments
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Match purchase orders with invoices and reconcile any discrepancies
• Issue customer invoices and track incoming payments
• Follow up on overdue accounts and send payment reminders
• Bank Reconciliation
• Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records
• Identify and correct errors in ledgers or statements
• Organize and file financial documents for easy retrieval during audits or reviews
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and other departments to resolve account-related issues
