Junior Attorney

About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Attorney to join our Legal Department team that specialises in Banking Litigation. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with experience in banking litigation and high court cases. 

This role is based at an Established Law Firm in Pretoria East.
Minimum Requirements:

• Admitted Attorney.  
• 1 – 3 years of experience in banking litigation.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Excalibur 4 systems is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vet pleadings and notices drafted by junior personnel.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff.
• Maintain a high standard of administrative organisation.
• Work effectively in high-pressure situations, including overtime as required.
