Junior Accountant

About the position

Join a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing organisation as a Junior Accountant.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys being involved across the full accounting function. The successful candidate will form part of a dynamic finance team and will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a busy manufacturing operation.

Duties:

• Assist with the full month-end accounting process
• Prepare and process journals, reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Manage debtors and creditors accounting functions
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register
• Assist with foreign currency transactions and reconciliations
• Participate in stock takes and inventory-related processes
• Support financial reporting and daily finance operations

 
Education and experience:

• BCom Accounting
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
• Manufacturing / FMCG industry experience is required
