About the position

Our client, a well-established and reputable Steel Manufacturer, is seeking a Junior Accountant with proven experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial Environment. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and support Debtors, Creditors, Cashbook functions and assist with monthly management account preparation.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Full processing and reconciliation of creditors and debtors
  • Daily cashbook capturing and bank reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain and file financial records in line with audit and compliance standards

This role offers excellent growth potential for a Candidate looking to expand their Finance exposure. It's a hands-on position with exposure to key financial processes, offering valuable experience under the guidance of an experienced Finance Manager.
