Calm under pressure and commercially aware, you're a technically grounded Project Manager who brings structure to complex engineering environments. You lead cross-functional teams confidently, communicate well with clients and suppliers, and take ownership of outcomes without needing close supervision.
Taking projects from proposal and design through procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning, you'll own scope, schedules, budgets, quality, HS&E, risk and change control. You'll lead project teams, manage client acceptance and supplier interfaces, and keep delivery on specification, budget and time. You'll enjoy the autonomy, technical complexity and satisfaction of seeing engineered solutions progress from concept to successful handover.
Based in Cape Town, you'll join an established international engineering environment supporting complex mining, mineral processing, marine and heavy-engineering projects. A BTech, BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering plus a Project Management qualification is essential. You'll bring 10-12 years' relevant project management experience in mining, oil and gas, mineral processing or heavy engineering. ECSA Professional Engineer registration, or eligibility for registration, is required, alongside MS Project, Excel and Word proficiency. Travel, flexible hours and your own transport are necessary.
