Application Support Engineer at MSP

About the position

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Support Engineer to support enterprise systems and drive operational improvements. This position offers exposure to systems administration, software integration, business process optimisation and user support within a collaborative technical environment.
Important Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain business applications and system configurations.
• Assist with systems administration and user access management.
• Analyse operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop SQL-based solutions to address process and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate application testing during upgrades and system enhancements.
• Support EDI, integration and automation initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Coordinate user training and assist with helpdesk activities.
• Resolve system issues through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent.
• CargoWise Specialist Certified.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

Advantageous

• Tertiary qualification.
• CargoWise Professional Certification.
• SQL experience.
• Systems integration or automation experience.
