About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring that software products meet business and technical requirements before deployment.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect management tool.
  
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
  
• Verify bug fixes and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
  
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools.
  
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  
• ISTQB certification is advantageous.
