About the position
A diversified financial services group that provides wealth management, investment solutions, and risk management to retail and institutional clients, is seeking a Business Analyst who will serve as the strategic link between business needs and technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit requirements via interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Translate business needs into technical documentation (User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows).
- Validate requirements for feasibility, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Map "As-Is" and "To-Be" states using flowcharts and process models to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Leverage data modeling to identify trends, predict outcomes, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate collaboration between business units and IT to ensure alignment.
- Support the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from design through to UAT and implementation.
- Manage project risks, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, OR
- Relevant Professional Certification (e.g., National Certificate in Business Analysis or Certificate Programme in Business Analysis).
- Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Proven track record in analytics and systems development.
- Technical Proficiency: * High proficiency in data management and modeling.
- Solid understanding of the System Development
- Life Cycle (SDLC) and Unified Modelling Language (UML).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build business cases.
