About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer (Telco Focus) to join a dynamic development team.
You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable applications within telecommunication systems.
This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of telecom networks, and hands-on experience with VAS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications across new and existing systems.
- Design and implement complex components using modern web architectures and frameworks.
- Bridge technical requirements and customer needs.
- Contribute to application architecture design and optimization.
- Ensure smooth operation of VAS platforms with high service levels and availability.
- Monitor system performance and continuously improve key metrics.
- Scale systems to meet rapid growth demands.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of Java development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications networks, protocols, and access methods.
- Proven experience developing/supporting VAS platforms and integrating telecom systems.
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or cloud deployment technologies.
- Strong expertise in Spring Framework, OOP, and design patterns.
- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture and cellular network infrastructure.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jira, Jenkins, unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
- Knowledge of React/Angular, MongoDB, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and application servers (Tomcat/WebLogic).
- Strong troubleshooting and testing skills.
