What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll be building, enhancing and maintaining internal software solutions using a Microsoft tech stack. You'll work predominantly in backend development using C#, .Net Framework and .Net Core, alongside Microsoft SQL Server. You'll also get hands-on with web services, APIs, source control via Azure DevOps and GIT, and potentially microservices. From design to delivery, you'll be involved in the full SDLC-collaborating with testers, analysts and support teams to ensure high-quality delivery. There's plenty of opportunity to expand into cloud development and new front-end frameworks as the team evolves.

What you'll need
You'll need solid backend development skills in C# with experience in the .Net Framework and ideally .Net Core. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, web services (like APIs and WCF), and experience with source control (GIT, Azure DevOps) is key. Exposure to microservices and any front-end experience (e.g. MVC, Angular, or React) would be a plus. Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS), Docker or Kubernetes will give you a distinct advantage.
