About the position

My client based in Bellville is currently looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-8+ years' experience in PL/SQL or SQL development
• Advanced technical knowledge in application programming, system design, and data storage/retrieval methods

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to product and business teams
• Design solutions and database structures that meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL or SQL scripts and applications to ensure robust solutions
• Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for successful project delivery
• Support business users and teams by handling queries, providing first-line support, and assisting with system issues
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications and programs
• Collaborate across teams and maintain effective communication from junior to senior levels
• Assist team members in resolving technical and application challenges
