Business Analyst - LISP
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with experience in Linked Investment Products and/or Life Products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within financial services. International investment product experience is a distinct advantage. Platform migration experience will also be a huge advantage. The role requires a deep understanding of investment-linked products, regulatory frameworks, and customer needs. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define requirements, improve processes, and drive strategic initiatives.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for investment-linked and/or life products.
Work with product, legal, compliance, and IT teams to define product specifications.
Develop detailed business spec and process flows to support the project initiatives.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across the business incl. but not limited to reporting, servicing, finance, etc.
Collaborate with IT teams to define system requirements and test solutions.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure seamless implementation of product build.
Support Training and review of training material.
Act as the bridge between business, IT, compliance, and product teams.
Prepare and present clear proposals, and recommendations to senior management.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on product and process changes.
Experience & Industry Knowledge
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Linked Investment Products and/or Life Products.
Strong knowledge of investment platforms, unit-linked products, and policy administration systems.
International investment product experience is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing investment and life insurance products.
Strong expertise in business process modelling, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience with agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
