Join Our Client in the Automotive Industry as an Expert Full Stack Developer!


Are you a seasoned Full Stack Developer ready to work on cutting-edge technology solutions in a global automotive environment? Our client in the Automotive industry is seeking an Expert Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic TechConnect team. This is your chance to shape innovative IT solutions that power the global operations of a world-leading automotive brand.




Location: Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Hybrid options available
Eligibility: South African citizens/residents preferred (valid work permits considered)




RequirementsWhat You’ll Do:


  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features


  • Ensure applications are performant, responsive, and bug-free


  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards


  • Implement and manage continuous integration & deployment pipelines


  • Mentor and guide junior developers


  • Participate actively in Agile team ceremonies


  • Stay ahead with the latest industry trends and technologies


Essential Skills:


  • Expert-level knowledge of Java and Angular 14+


  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS


  • Experience in API development (REST services & RESTful APIs)


  • Strong knowledge of Azure/cloud services


  • Proficiency in SQL/PostgreSQL and database administration


  • Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Jira


  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes


  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated/manual testing


Advantageous Skills:


  • Test Driven Development (TDD)


  • J2EE, JUnit, Maven, Hibernate


  • Spring Framework & Spring Boot


  • SonarQube for code quality


  • Agile Working Model (AWM) experience


  • German language skills


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience


  • 8+ years in full-stack development at an expert level


  • Proven track record of high-quality software delivery
