Mid-Senior Data Analyst (6-Month Contract) (JHB Hybrid)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

JOIN an exciting project role as your expertise as a Mid-Senior Data Analyst is sought by an established Foundation with a mission to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem to fill a 6-month renewable contract. The project will entail creating analytics layer for AGGP_SA's data platform to enable predictive analytics, automated reporting, and real-time dashboards tracking 300,000+ beneficiaries across multiple initiatives. The successful incumbent will require 4-6 years’ relevant work experience including a track record of building executive dashboards, expert-level Power BI or Tableau, SQL, Python-R for statistical analysis, Predictive Modeling techniques & preferably an understanding of Non-Profit metrics.

DUTIES:

• Dashboard Development (35%): Build role-based dashboards for executives, Program Managers, and stakeholders.
• Predictive Analytics (25%): Develop models for beneficiary success prediction and program optimization.
• Report Automation (25%): Create automated organizational scorecard and impact reports.
• Data Analysis (15%): Analyse cross-initiative patterns and ecosystem insights.

Deliverables –

• Executive and role-based dashboards.
• Automated organizational scorecard.
• Predictive models for at-risk identification.
• Automated report templates for funders.
• Cross-initiative impact analysis framework.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-6 Years Data Analysis experience.
• Experience with organizational KPIs and scorecards.
• Track record of building executive dashboards.
• Understanding of Non-Profit metrics preferred.
• Power BI or Tableau (Expert level).
• SQL for complex queries.
• Python/R for statistical analysis.
• Predictive Modeling techniques.
• Dashboard design and UX principles.
• Statistical analysis and forecasting.
• Report automation tools.

Desirable skills –

• Experience with impact measurement metrics.
• Knowledge of Theory of Change frameworks.
• Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform).
• Machine Learning basics.
• CRM Analytics experience.
