Intermediate Business Analyst - On-site (Cape Town | Kuils River)

An established organisation in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced Intermediate Business Analyst to join their product-focused team. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Kuils River, Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements to support both product development and operational delivery. This role requires close collaboration with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, document, and validate functional and business requirements
  
  
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and related analysis artefacts
  
  
• Track and communicate work item progress across the full SDLC
  
  
• Support solution validation, including test case review and UAT coordination
  
  
• Perform post-deployment checks and ensure organisational readiness
  
  
• Identify process improvement opportunities based on stakeholder feedback
  
  
• Provide business support and mentor junior analysts as needed
  
  

Key Requirements:

• 3-4 years' experience in a formal Business Analysis role
  
  
• A relevant tertiary qualification in a technical or analytical field
  
  
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and Agile frameworks
  
  
• Experience working with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools is advantageous
  
  
• Prior experience in financial services, contact centres, or telephony systems is beneficial
