About the position
Introduction:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced SAP Project Manager to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our client is looking for someone who can confidently lead full-cycle SAP projects - from planning and execution to delivery and adoption.
If you have a strong track record in SAP S/4HANA or ECC, experience managing cross-functional teams, and thrive in enterprise settings, this role is for you. You'll be responsible for coordinating stakeholders, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring successful outcomes across departments and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end SAP projects (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.)
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams including business users, developers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear project reporting to stakeholders
- Ensure all project documentation and deliverables meet quality standards
- Work with change management and training teams to ensure smooth adoption
- Serve as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with 5+ years focused on SAP projects
- Proven track record in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations or major upgrades/migrations
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, or cloud-based SAP solutions
- Strong understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD)
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or finance sectors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Activate, module-specific certifications) highly desirable
