About the position

If you are a passionate Cloud developer with a focus on front-end development and you are interested in creating valuable insights into the health status of our Cloud environments, are thrilled about the latest technologies, full of energy and ambition, hands-on and not afraid of making your hands dirty, this is the right position for you.


 


Responsibilities




  • Development of an Angular based Portal
  • Support application teams with relevant Cloud related information


  • AWS & Azure Health Monitoring
  • Actively taking part in all regular Scrum ceremonies
  • Contribute to refinement of user stories
  • Liaise with stakeholders and team members
  • Pro-active knowledge sharing within own and other teams
  • Actively making proposals and/or developing prototypes
  • Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps)
  • Provide 7x24 standby support for Cloud related incidents (currently one week per month, rotation between team members)


RequirementsEssential Skills Requirements




  • At least 2 years' worth of experience in frontend development with UI frameworks,
  • especially with Angular (version 16 or higher).


  • Experience in HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript
  • At least 2 years' worth of experience in AWS or Azure Monitoring


  • At least 2 years knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • (e.g., GitHub, Terraform, Terragrunt)


  • Experience in task automation
  • Experience in Python development
  • Experience in the development of dashboards, health monitors & alerts
  • Experience in report creation based on SQL-databases and other data sources
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter



Advantageous Skills Requirements


  • Experience with Agile Working methods (e.g. Scrum)
  • Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Experience with restful APIs
  • Familiarity with Microservices, Azure Serverless Functions, AWS lambda, Cloud Architectures and Container Architectures e.g., Docker
  • Proficiency with Kafka or other streaming platforms or messaging systems e.g., MQTT
  • ITIL process knowledge and work experience (advantageous)

Qualifications


  • Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work experience
  • Broad overall IT infrastructure and application understanding
  • 2+ years’ experience with AWS & Azure Cloud, preferred with relevant certifications
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer in frontend development with Angular
