About the position
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic BI team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data and analytics to grow their career in a supportive, learning-focused environment. The ideal candidate has some technical knowledge of BI tools and a strong interest in turning data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards using tools such as QlikView, QlikSense, and SQL.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data models (e.g., ERDs) and ETL processes to gather and prepare data from various sources.
- Collaborate with senior BI analysts and team members to build user-friendly, visually appealing dashboards.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Learn to create and apply formulas and calculations to support business reporting.
- Participate in testing and validating BI outputs to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with QA, Data Analysts, and Technical Project Managers to align on project goals and timelines.
- Continuously develop your skills in BI tools, data analysis, and business processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in a BI, data analysis, or similar technical role (internships or academic projects welcome).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as QlikView, or QlikSense.
- Basic understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Interest in learning data modeling and ETL concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Attention to detail and eagerness to deliver high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
