About the Opportunity:
Our client in the motor industry is seeking an experienced Front End Developer (BI Focus) to join their dynamic IT Hub. As part of a globally integrated team, you will play a pivotal role in developing data-driven solutions within a modern cloud and business intelligence ecosystem. What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement BI-focused front-end solutions in an agile, cloud-first environment
- Work closely with global stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements
- Design and maintain data integration processes using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS Glue
- Coordinate development and support tasks to ensure smooth delivery and operation
- Engage in documentation, testing, and support of system and application developments
- Apply strong problem-solving skills across cloud computing, database administration, and data transformation tools
RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in relational databases (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
- 8+ years of ETL experience (Oracle, Informatica, or AWS Glue)
- 8+ years of BI development, including at least 1–2 years in a cloud environment
- Proficiency in:
- AWS (Quicksight, Glue, EC2, Aurora PostgreSQL, CDK)
- Terraform (IAAS)
- Flyway, Github
- Database administration and Agile delivery tools (Jira, Confluence)
- QlikSense
- A relevant IT or business-related degree
Advantageous Skills:
- Exposure to other BI tools
- Familiarity with AWS S3 and Athena
