Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement enterprise Java applications in accordance with SDLC best practices.
• Develop robust backend services and modern frontend solutions using Java, Angular and related technologies.
• Produce technical specifications, architecture documentation and system enhancements to meet business requirements.
• Perform code reviews, maintain coding standards and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers and technical teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Identify, analyse and resolve production issues while ensuring maximum system availability and performance.
• Participate in change management, governance, audit and release management processes.
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability and operational efficiency.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications

• BCom, BSc, BEng, BSc Informatics or another relevant IT qualification.

Experience

• 10+ years' Java development experience.
• Strong backend and frontend development experience.
• Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience mentoring developers and conducting peer code reviews.
• Financial services or banking industry experience will be advantageous.
