About the position
Our client is seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong full-stack capabilities to contribute to the development of modern enterprise applications. This permanent opportunity is suited to a developer who enjoys working across backend services, frontend development and database technologies within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend components using Angular.
- Design, implement and optimise database structures and queries.
- Deliver features across both backend and frontend components.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold strong engineering standards.
- Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with product, development and technical teams to deliver quality solutions.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years' experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
- Solid Angular development experience.
- Good knowledge of SQL and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with JUnit or similar unit testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment.
