We are looking for talented Intermediate and Senior Java Developers to join a dynamic IT and Data team. You will work on modern applications, APIs, microservices and cloud based solutions while getting involved across the full software development lifecycle.

What you will be doing:
- Design develop test and maintain Java applications and services
- Build scalable microservices and distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and enhance Angular applications and user interfaces
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
- Work with existing enterprise applications and continuously improve them
- Contribute to solution design and technical architecture discussions
- Apply object oriented design principles and development patterns
- Develop secure scalable and high performing solutions
- Build integrations using REST SOAP messaging technologies and APIs
- Work with technologies including JMS IBM MQ AWS SQS XML and JSON
- Support cloud native applications and AWS environments
- Help improve application performance monitoring stability and reliability
- Write unit integration and automated tests
- Contribute to CI CD processes and build management using Git and Gradle
- Support production and non production environments and troubleshoot technical issues
- Work closely with Business Analysts Solution Architects Testers and Product Owners
- Take part in Agile ceremonies story refinement and technical discussions
- Share knowledge and mentor other developers at Senior level
- Explore new technologies and AI assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
Requirements - 5 to 10 years of software development experience
- Strong hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular and API development
- Experience working with enterprise applications and integrated solutions
- Strong understanding of microservices and modern software development practices
- Experience contributing to solution design and technical architecture
- Experience working in cloud based and modern software engineering environments
- Experience with technical initiatives, mentoring and knowledge sharing will be advantageous
- Experience within financial services will be advantageous
- Investment industry experience will be highly advantageous
Qualifications
- A relevant IT Degree or Diploma in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience within financial services will be advantageous.
