About the position
Junior position - suitable for a Candidate with 1 year of relevant experience. Basic knowledge and own transport required. Based in or near the Upper Highway Area.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems
- Document and track issues, resolutions, and updates in the helpdesk ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
- Perform onboarding and off boarding of users, including account creation, access provisioning, and deactivation
- Support Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Office 365, Teams, and Outlook
- Apply basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, and access points to resolve network-related problems
- Meet SLA response times for priority tickets
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and common software applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Basic understanding of firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and able to communicate effectively with clients
- Driver's license and own vehicle
- Based in or near the Upper Highway area
